Welcome to T-Auction, an online auctions and bidding platform provided by Transingenium. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the T-Auction website and services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Definitions

  • User: Any individual or entity who accesses or uses the T-Auction website or services.
  • Bidder: A user who participates in auctions by placing bids on items.
  • Seller: A user who lists items for auction on the T-Auction platform.
  • Item: Any product or service listed for auction on the T-Auction platform.


Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. By registering for an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Registration will require a valid phone number and email ID, both of which will be verified. Without both, you cannot proceed to avail the service.

Auctions and Bidding

  • Listing Items: Sellers may list items for auction on the T-Auction platform. By listing an item, the seller agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prohibited Items: The listing of certain items is prohibited on the T-Auction platform, including but not limited to guns, contrabands, explosives, explicit sexual content, and stolen items. Users found listing prohibited items may have their account suspended or terminated.
  • Placing Bids: Bidders may participate in auctions by placing bids on items. Bids are binding commitments to purchase the item at the bid price if the bidder is the winning bidder.
  • Responsibility: The bidder is therefore responsible for ensuring the validity of their bids and complying with auction rules.
  • Retraction: Bids cannot be retracted once placed, except within a limited time (2 minutes) window for error correction.
  • Winning Auctions: The highest bidder at the end of an auction is deemed the winning bidder. The seller reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
  • Payment: Winning bidders are required to complete the payment for the item within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in account strikes.


Dispute Resolution & Refunds

Any disputes between users arising from the use of the T-Auction platform shall be resolved between the parties involved. Transingenium is not responsible for resolving disputes between users.
However, if the bidder upon receiving the item is not satisfied with the quality and specifications (as displayed and described on the platform by the seller) the bidder can reject the item strike-free and request for a refund which would be processed instantly.

Account Strikes

  • Non-Payment: In cases where a winning bidder does not pay for the item after emerging as the winner, the bidder receives a strike. After three strikes, the bidder's account would be subject to a 30 days suspension. After ten strikes, the bidder's qualifies for a permanent removal from the platform.
  • Seller AWOL: In cases where a seller refuses to release an item after leaving it for the duration of the bid, or cancels an auction sale after it has received bids, or posts an item and description that is different from the actual item,  the seller receives a strike. After three strikes, the seller's account would be subject to a 30 days suspension. After ten strikes, the seller's account qualifies for a permanent removal from the platform.


Escrow Payments

Transingenium holds payments in escrow until the buyer is satisfied with the item. Only then are the funds released to the seller.

Please note: Funds once released to the seller at the behest of the winning bidder (buyer) cannot be refunded.

Pickup Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for pickup or delivery arrangements. Please follow community guidelines and local rules and regulations to stay safe during pickup or drop-off.

Subscription Plans

T-Auction offers various subscription plans tailored to different user needs, including Free, Basic, Premium, and Pro tiers. All subscriptions plans (except the free plan) are subject to a validity period.

Affiliate Program

T-Auction offers an affiliate program for users to earn commissions by referring new users or promoting platform services. Affiliates must adhere to program guidelines and ethical practices to participate or risk suspension from the affiliate program.

Modifications to the Service

Transingenium reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. Users acknowledge and agree that Transingenium shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Termination

Transingenium reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user's access to the Service at any time for any reason, without prior notice.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

Bidding is easy! Place your bid on an item, and if yours is the highest when the auction ends, you win. It's that simple! In a case where a maximum selling price has been set, bidding the maximum amount automatically ends the auction and you win.

Each auction has a specified duration (and optionally, a maximum selling price). Bidding remains open until the timer reaches zero (or a bidder bids the maximum selling price). Keep an eye on your favorite items and bid strategically.

Absolutely! T-Auction provides a platform for sellers to showcase their items to a wide audience. List your items, and let the bidding begin.

Changing your mind is OK, and we can accommodate that. You have a maximum of 2 minutes to change your mind 'strike free', and any change of mind after 2 minutes gives you a 'strike'. After 3 consecutive strikes, your account will be restricted for 30 days. You will not be allowed to place bids within this period. And for 10 strikes, your account would permanently be barred on the platform. So bid wisely and strategically!
